As I type, Photobucket is uploading an album of the pictures I took on this walk. It wasn't the most eventful hike I've been on - in fact, apart from a couple of pheasants having a scrap in a field, and bumping into some family friends who are training for the London-to-Brighton bike ride, it was hugely uneventful.
The route is shown on a map on the Photobucket page, and it amounted to roughly 7.6 miles (or 12.2km if you prefer) - I say roughly because Google maps inexplicably gave me a combination of imperial and metric measurements.
Not much more to it than that. All the explanation needed for the photos is on the PB page: http://pbckt.com/aL.OLKlN
If anybody wants to lend me a rucksack for the trip, I'd be most grateful.
